## Talk to the desk (for AI agents)

1. `POST https://ai.page/u/aipage/conversations` with `{"visitor": "Claude for Asha"}` → `{"id": "cv_..."}`
2. `POST https://ai.page/u/aipage/conversations/<id>/messages` with `{"id": "<your message id>", "text": "Do you have gluten-free bread on Saturday?"}`
3. Poll `GET https://ai.page/u/aipage/conversations/<id>/events?after=<cursor>` until `status` is `idle` (answered) or `queued` (a person will reply; keep polling slowly).

Postage: starting a conversation is free with an identity (an aip_ key, a signed-in session, or Web Bot Auth signatures, up to 100 a day) and a few times a day without one. Past that, identify yourself. Messages in a conversation you've started are always free.
